Forklift Operator Training: Here’s What You Should Know about OSHA Forklift Certification

The best way to learn to be the best at operating a forklift is to learn from the best. MacKinnon Equipment & Services offers OSHA forklift operator training and certification. Here's what you need to know:

OSHA requires every forklift operator to be trained and certified and then reevaluated every three years. Our courses will keep you certified with classroom training, written exams, practical application and of course the certification you need.

Complete Training At Your Facility

We can come to your facility. Our courses at your location are $595 for up to ten students and an extra $100 for every additional student. We'll provide you with all of the documentation and training you need to be certified. From pre-start up inspection to routine maintenance—our trainers are world-class and thorough. You and your team will come away with confidence, expertise and OSHA certifications as required by OSHA Occupational Safety and Health Administration Standard CFR- 29 -1910-178.

Group Training Classes At Our Facility

We also offer comprehensive training in a group setting. Get in touch with your nearest MacKinnon branch for details and to get on the schedule. Courses are $75.00 a student.

Safety Instructor Training Program

In addition, we offer courses to become a forklift safety instructor. These are conducted at your request—our facility or yours. The cost is $595 for one trainer and $100 more per additional trainer. Get in touch with any of our five locations for more information.
